DECEMBER EVENTS...

This December has been so much fun!! Not only did we get to spend Christmas up in Washington with both our families, Tim and I were really spoiled with two weekend getaways and Taylor got baptized! First, Tim and I headed to Vegas at the beginning of the month and had a TON of fun with Tim's dad, mom, brother and girlfriend, Paula (finace by the time we left...) We got to go to the National Finals Rodeo two nights in a row and enjoyed playing and eating on the strip and shopping at all the cowboy conventions. Two of the highlights for me was #1. Definitely the New York, New York rollercoater that I convinced everyone to go on with me. We went late at night and it was fantastic! The last time I had been on that rollercoaster was on our honeymoon! #2. hanging out with the Percheron horses after the rodeo (that's a draft breed for those who are wondering) and there were a whole team of them there. Theses horses we HUGE! and so beautiful. I think the one we had our picture behind was 19HH! We also found our new favorite resturant while we were in Vegas, Texas de Brazil!!! Seriously, if you get the chance to eat at one, GO! And we even fit in a little time for Dance, Dance Revolution at one of the Casinos. Our condo was goregous and it was just a perfect weekend. We only had two weeks back home before Tim and I jetted off for the weekend to Montana to be at Jeff and Paula's wedding. There were only eight of us in attendance and it was so neat to be there for the two of them! They got married at a beautiful lodge near Bozeman and again the weekend couldn't have gone any smoother! The weather was perfect and we got to go on a sleigh ride, relax by the fire in our cabin, and have a caterer for every meal! It was so relaxing and on the day of their wedding I did Paula's hair, pedicure, makeup, helped with the flowers and also acted at Photographer for the event and it was so much fun! Thanks Jeff and Paula for letting us be there! I couldn't hardly believe it but as soon as we got back from Montana is was time to get things packed up and ready for Christmas in Washington. It was soooo fun and very crazy to have everyone together on Christmas morning! So much laughter and love! Most special of all during this month was that the day after Christmas, Taylor got baptized! WOW! I CAN NOT BELIEVE SHE IS EIGHT!! it really blows my mind. It was a great day and so full of the Spirit! Taylor was so excited and more than ever her sweet spirit was just radiating. The picture I have of her coming out of the baptimal font with a huge smile on her face and her countenance shining so pure and bright...i'll never forget it and am just so thankful i got be there for her! it was one of those days when i was reminded of why I am a mother! What a wonderful Christmas season! And eventhough it went so fast, it was so fulfilling, in the right ways!
