Taylor deemed this last Saturday, "the best day of my whole life" Tim and I surprised her with a horse for her 8th birthday and she was shell-shocked to say the least! Tim's mom and dad and my mom (my dad had to work...missed you there dad and love you) came here and surprised the kids on Friday night. It was fun when they showed up and Taylor just thought they were coming to celebrate her birthday. So we brought the horse into our back yard the next morning and Taylor came out...she didn't react much because she didn't really comprehend that it was actually her horse, when we told her it was her own horse and that it got to live with us (actually boarding at our friends house up the road) then she freaked out and got way excited! THEN...Tay and I were getting our picture taken with her horse, and I turned around because Tim was behind me and as I turned, he was standing there with ANOTHER horse for me!!!!! I instantly started sobbing like a little baby because as those of you who know me know, I have waited for my OWN horse for 28 years. Plus, it is kinda hard to completely surprise me! Tim bought me the horse that I fell in love with when we were actually looking at one for Taylor. (Good thing the horse trailer we bought is big enough for more than one horse!) So, Taylor and I both got our first horses on the same day! We spend the whole rest of the day riding and playing with them and enjoying all the fun horse tack that Tim and Grandpa and Grandma bought for our horses. THANK YOU, THANK YOU to our parents and especially to my amazing husband who spends his whole life trying to make his family happy! I have to agree with Tay...one of the best days in my whole life :)
